Sign the GreenWay Petition!
Thank you for everyone who has signed the GreenWay petition- but please keep them coming in. We have almost reached our target of 10,000. If we
can collect 10,000 signatures the NSW parliament will debate the GreenWay, and we will have demonstrated overwhelming community support for building the GreenWay. So please download the petition, sign it and get as many people as possible to sign it. Completed petitions should be returned to: Carmel Tebbutt, MP, PO Box 170, Marrickville, NSW 1475.
Parliamentary rules require the petition to be signed by hand, so we can not run this as an electronic petition.
Join the Reconciliation Walk this Sunday!
The Reconciliation Walk this coming Sunday promises to be a wonderful celebration of the rich and ongoing legacy left by the Aboriginal people who have been caring for the country of the Cooks River valley for thousands of years. As well it is an opportunity to meet some of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who live in our area today.
Community members are invited to join the walk at any of the following times and places. A council bus will be available at the end of the event to take walkers back to their starting point.
