	Dear Visitor,
	Welcome to this special Active Transport edition of the GreenWay Enews. As someone who has ongoing interest in the GreenWay, could you share with us your ideas about how to encourage people to use the GreenWay and make the most of its open spaces and connections? Can you help us identify and understand the barriers to people using the GreenWay? The GreenWay Sustainability Project invites you to participate in an online survey and a community workshop on 3rd August to explore these issues. There is a bicycle voucher worth $500 to be won. Details of the workshop and survey are below. The Active Transport Study is part on the ongoing work of the GreenWay Sustainability Project to maximise the community benefits of the GreenWay. Read More Getting ready for the GreenWay: Community Workshop *How can we encourage and enhance the use of the GreenWay?* The new GreenWay shared pathway connecting the Cooks River to Iron Cove will be implemented as part of the Inner West Light Rail Extension in 2012. You are invited to a community workshop at the Ashfield Civic Centre on Wednesday 3rd August to give your input into how to best encourage active transport within the GreenWay and foster ongoing community involvement.
