From concrete to crops!
Residents of Wilga Street near Dulwich Hill Station have created fantastic food gardens along their street, where there was once an expanse of concrete footpath. The vegetable beds are watered by diverted stormwater and the produce is shared. This is very much in keeping with the GreenWay vision develop a network of green streets within the GreenWay catchment. National Volunteer Week, 9-15 May 2011
National Volunteer Week (NVW) is the largest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism in Australia, and provides an opportunity to highlight the role of volunteers in our communities and to say thank you to the more than 5 million Australians who volunteer.

The GreenWay short film provides the community, first time visitors and school students with an overview of the GreenWay vision, concepts and on ground activities to date.
A big thank you to the students and teachers from Kegworth Public School, the Inner West Environment Group, local resident and volunteer Nick Chapman, National Tree Day 2010 Volunteers and everyone who contributed to the making of this film.
