Help make container littering history

The Boomerang Alliance is campaigning to introduce deposits on beverage containers. The drinks companies are campaigning strongly against it. The government will be making a decision soon. Lend your support and send an e-petition. This photo was taken at the Cooks River end of the GreenWay on 6th May. With container deposit legislation this would be history.
Design a bike helmet and win

K to 6 students are invited to design a bike helmet using a template as part of Bicycle NSW Artwork Design Competition for the chance to win a bike and have their design made up into a real helmet for sale. Nine regional winners will each receive a bike and a helmet. Entries close 29th June. For details of how to enter click here.
92% would use the GreenWay Trail!

The results are finally in from the 2012 GreenWay Survey. 92% said they would use the extended path if it was built and almost a quarter of all respondents had signed the GreenWay petition. In terms of getting active around the GreenWay, it was positive to find that overall physical activity, both walking and cycling has increased in 2012 compared to the 2010 survey results.
