The GreenWay Primary School Sustainability Program is now an accredited NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) teachers training course that can be used across the state.

The  accredited NSW Institute of Teachers course has been adapted so it can used outside of the GreenWay catchment with an emphasises on outdoor learning and experience-based learning as a way of connecting students with their local environment and promoting student engagement and enhanced learning outcomes.

This course  ‘Using the local environment for integration of sustainability education outcomes for Stage 2/3’ is being offered for free to local Inner West primary schools who are invited to attend a Teachers Professional Development day on August 28^th 2012.
