Entries for the 2016 GreenWay Art Prize are closing soon. The competition celebrates the precious urban green corridor in Sydney’s Inner West and aims to capture the essence of the GreenWay through visual art.

The Inner West Council is holding a number of free events and courses to celebrate NSW Bike Week 2016 including events along the GreenWay. From cycling rookies to pros, there's something for everyone. Cycle lessons will be held in Johnson Park, Dulwich Hill on September 18 and there is a big ride from War Memorial Park to the GreenWay and back on September 25. There are even prizes to be won! Entries are now open for the 2016 GreenWay Art Prize which features an expanded touring exhibition of selected works and a new GreenWay Community Photography Prize. This year a total prize pool of $9,000 is on offer, which includes a prize package of $4,500 for the GreenWay Open Art Prize.
